There is real money attached to InvoiceNow adoption, and the amount depends on one number: your annual supplies. Here are the grants, the exact figures IRAS publishes, and the part that trips people up — what these grants do not pay for.
| Eligible business | Grant | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| SMEs — annual supplies ≤ S$4,000,000 | GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant | S$1,000 |
| Larger businesses — annual supplies > S$4,000,000 | GST InvoiceNow Transition Grant | S$5,000 |
| Larger businesses — annual turnover > S$4,000,000 | InvoiceNow Queen Bee Grant | S$25,000 |

The Productivity Solutions Grant is the one most people ask about, and it is a different thing. PSG supports pre-approved digital solutions broadly — accounting and ERP systems among them — rather than InvoiceNow specifically. In practice that means PSG may help fund the software you adopt, while the Transition Grant is aimed at the cost of getting onto the network.
Do not assume they stack, and do not assume either is automatic. Both have their own eligibility rules and both are administered outside IRAS. Check current terms with IMDA and Enterprise Singapore before you budget on them.
Before you chase a grant, check whether you need to spend anything at all. Thirteen accredited providers offer a complete free-of-charge package to GST-registered businesses, with no conditions attached. For a smaller business already on a listed accounting package, the realistic cost of compliance can be zero.
Grants are time-bound and your deadline decides how much runway you have. Work out your implementation date before you apply for anything — if you are in the 2031 phase, there is no rush, and rushing is how businesses pay for things they did not need.
